clayArt Studios' Senior Instructor

Dani began pottery classes in 2017 during her academic training and used ceramic art as a creative outlet. She joined clayArt Studios as a student in the Summer of 2023 and progressed so quickly that she became a studio member by the end of the same year.

 

Dani is also a certified mindfulness instructor and reiki level II practitioner, bringing these elements into conversation with the clay. While some moments are mindful, observing the hands as they ebb and flow across the clay, in other moments reiki flows through the forms. These natural systems in addition to forms found in nature influence Dani’s work, which treads the intersection between clean lines and whimsy.
